The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) was created in 1957 under the provisions of the Delhi Development Act “to promote and secure the development of Delhi”.
The DDA is responsible for planning, development and construction of Housing Projects, Commercial Lands, Land Management, Land Disposal, Land Pooling Land Costing etc.
DDA has played a vital role in the orderly-yet-rapid development of Delhi. The city has become the residence of choice for more than 11 million people and this number continues to increase.
About the Job
DDA invites applications for engaging Young Professionals for various projects under Legal Department, DDA purely on contractual basis through walk in interview.
Professionals will be hired for various projects under Legal Department of DDA for a period mentioned against each purely on contractual basis on a fixedconsolidated remuneration mentioned herein above.
5% Annual enhancement on base rate i.e. proposed remuneration will be applicable on the recommendation of HoDs concerned on the basis of performance. In no case, the remuneration of any individual Consultant shall exceed 1.25 times of the in initial remuneration.
DDA may extend the contract period further depending on requirement and satisfactory performance of the candidate which would be reviewed annually.
Eligibility criteria
- Young Legal Professionals are required for monitoring of Court Cases and rendering Legal Advice, to be attached with all HODs & CEs.
- Upto date with current/recent judgments and acquaintance with the system.
- Enrolled with Bar Council of any State / UT in India
Educational Qualification
Full time regular degree of Law (entitling the incumbent for Registration at Bar and appearing before the Court) from recognized University or equivalent.
Maximum age
30 years as on closing date of application.
Period of Engagement
01 Year
(DDA may extend the contract period further depending on requirement and satisfactory performance of the candidate which would be reviewed annually.)
Salary
Salary per month is Rs. 50,000/-
Application Procedure
- The candidate shall send the bio data in the prescribed format by 27.06.2025.
- They shall fill up the form duly typed fix photograph at the space provided in the prescribed application form (attached), put specimen signature in the space provided and then send the scanned copy of the signed application form duly filled pdf format at email–consultant.rc@dda.org.in.
- Application received through any other mode of communication / after the last of date of submission of application/ or not in prescribed format shall not be entertained.
